Welcome to TherapyBiz. My name is Scott Dartnall and I have been a Massage Therapist for 16 years. In that time I have specialized in designing and operating large multi or inter-disciplinary clinics. My initial clinic became the first private multi-disciplinary clinic accredited in Canada by the CCHSA. CCHSA is responsible for accrediting hospitals and nursing homes in Canada.
Less than two years ago a group of collegues from across Canada came together and formed Massage Therapy Radio MTR. MTR features audio and video interviews of therapist from around the world. In 2007 MTR became the official media sponsor for the AMTA National Convention and Massage Therapy Canada Expo.
Eric Brown (BodyWorkBiz & MTR) and myself are launching the World Massage Conference in November 2008. This is a virtual conference done through tele-webcasting (live streaming audio online). We’ve partnered with organizations and associations from around the world and this will be a true international massage conference of monumental scope. It will be a very exciting and ground breaking event.
TherapyBiz is a work in progress and your input is appreciated. I love promoting massage therapy because I know its importance to wellness and believe in its transformative properties.
